The Junior Group of Goodwill

Founded in 1933, the Junior Group of Goodwill is a volunteer auxiliary for Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit. Since 1937, the Junior Group has held many fund raising events in support of Goodwill, including horse shows, bridge teas, cookbook sales, theater parties, house tours, golf tournaments and the Goodwill Antiques Show.

For more than 70 years, the Junior Group has dedicated its efforts to supporting Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit as it brings independence to individuals with barriers to employment. Both Goodwill and the Junior Group have seen many changes but our core philosophy has remained constant.

The Junior Group is always looking for new members -- men and women, especially those interested in antiques and fine collectibles. A "hands-on" group meets regularly at the main facility to restore, repair, and refurnish selected donations.  Would you like to learn to cane a chair? Come see what we are all about! For more information, call: 248-851-6980.

If you are interested in making a special donation of finer quality items such as art, antiques, jewelry, crystal, silver, etc. for an upcoming Junior Group Goodwill Silent Auction (similar to ones held in the past at our Antiques Show), please contact Dee Chandler, Junior Group President, at 248-851-6980.
